Basketball Betting Lines

12/24/2006 - Memphis, TN (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Carlos Boozer poured in 24 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out five assists to lead Utah past Memphis, 100-97, at FedExForum.

Mehmet Okur posted 20 points and grabbed nine boards while Deron Williams scored 17 points with nine helpers for the Jazz, who have won five of eight.

Derek Fisher added 11 points and Ronnie Brewer had 10 in the victory.

Utah shot 43 percent from the field for the game.

Mike Miller netted a game-high 28 points on 10-of-20 shooting and 6-of-13 from the charity stripe for the Grizzlies, who have dropped three straight and nine of their last 10.

Dahntay Jones contributed 14 points, Pau Gasol scored 12 and Damon Stoudamire finished with 11 in defeat.

The Jazz, trailing 97-92 with 2:27 remaining, went on an 8-0 run to end the game as Andrei Kirilenko drilled a three and Okur converted on a four-point play in the final seconds.

Miller's jumper gave Memphis a 28-20 edge after one quarter of play. The Jazz, though, tied the contest several times in the second, but Chucky Atkins drained a trio of free throws late in the frame and the Grizzlies led 48-45 at halftime.

Both teams netted 30 points in the third to keep it a three-point contest in favor of Memphis, but Utah grabbed the lead and the win in the fourth.

Memphis finished 48 percent from the floor.
