05/20/2008 - London, England (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has dropped a major hint that he will still be at Stamford Bridge next season, following recent talk of a big-money exit from the Blues.
The 30-year-old Ivory Coast international has spoken of his concerns at the way events have panned in recent times at Chelsea, with Drogba especially worried by the exit of coach Jose Mourinho earlier this season.
He has been mentioned as a possible transfer target for Barcelona, Real Madrid, AC Milan and Inter Milan, having scored 80 goals in 173 appearances for the Blues since his arrival from Marseille in the summer of 2004.
Drogba told France Football: "After the last match of the Premiership at Stamford Bridge of course I thought it could have been my last match here.
"But it is just like that each year after the last home match. Anyway I am still here next term, as my contract will be over in 2009.
"Last October when I said in France Football I wanted to leave Chelsea that liberated me. There were too many frustrations, I had to get it all out, but then I had to take care to be good and I had my best period of the season.
"Now it is up to me to make my choice and I will take my time. For a few weeks, everyone talked about me going everywhere, but no-one has named Chelsea.
"I never split on Chelsea. I just confessed a discontent after the departure of Jose Mourinho. I am just thinking so far and asking myself about the best decision to make."
